This Song.

Before moving to Minnesota, I lived in Austin with my husband. We lived in an area that was incredibly walkable. On a random Friday, while on a walk, I popped over to Spotify to check out the "New Releases" channel. To be honest, I have a hard time branching out when it comes to music. So, it was pretty refreshing to find a hits channel that actually had some great songs.

One of the best tracks I found was The Longest Goodbye by Role Model featuring Laufey. It had a bluesy vibe with a timeless feel. The song is essentially about a couple breaking up, realizing they don’t really love each other anymore. What a song to have such a catchy tune! Then again, sad lyrics can be surprisingly fun to listen to.

Anyway, give it a listen. I recommend playing it on a sunny walk. If you’re anything like me, you’ll find yourself weirdly smiling to a fun, sad song.
